Thoughtful craftsmanship inspired by generations.

East Coast Threads was founded on the belief that quality craftsmanship still has a place in everyday life. Every project, from custom embroidery and alterations to personalized bridal keepsakes, is created with care, precision, and an appreciation for timeless design.

Where It All Began

I learned to sew when I was eight years old beside my grandmother's sewing machine.

She made clothing for her family, hemmed my school uniforms and dance costumes, and always seemed to have a project spread across her sewing table. While she stitched, she would hand me a paper napkin, a needle, and a piece of thread so I could practice tiny stitches right alongside her.

Those afternoons taught me patience, attention to detail, and the pride that comes from creating something well. They also sparked a lifelong love for sewing. Even today, some of my favorite projects are still the ones we work on together.

Why East Coast Threads

As I grew older, I realized how difficult it had become to find quality alterations and tailoring.

Clothing is made to fit many people, but there is nothing quite like wearing something that has been tailored specifically for you. A thoughtful alteration can completely transform the way a garment looks, feels, and gives you confidence.

I created East Coast Threads to help bring that experience back to my community while carrying on the craftsmanship my grandmother passed down to me. Whether I am restoring a favorite garment, creating custom embroidery, or designing a meaningful keepsake, every piece is thoughtfully crafted with the same care, precision, and attention to detail that first inspired my love for sewing.
